North Park Trains & Christmas Cookies

We are making many Hodge family traditions. We took the boys to see the trains at North Park mall and they both had a blast! What an awesome exhibit!!

It's a..........BOY!!!!!!!

We are proud of announce that we are having another boy! What fun Carter & Coleman will have!! He looks very healthy and is growing right on target.
Carson Lucas Hodge will be born the first week in May! As it gets closer we will schedule a c-section and know the exact date!

Christmas Spirit!!

We have been getting into the Christmas spirit in the Hodge household. We have gone to see the ICE sculpture at the Gaylord Texan. The theme was "The Grinch that stole Christmas." It was beautiful and they boys loved it! We then headed to Bass Pro Shop to see Santa. As we waited, we got to ride a carosel, watch trains, shoot toy guns, Get into the boats and pretend to ride the 4 wheelers and we also walked around the store looking at the fish and rattle snakes! WOW! Now that is a boys Christmas! :)

Since then we have made a gingerbread house and toasted smores in the fireplace. What a fun time we have all had getting into the spirit!

14 week sonogram

Will and I went in for our 14 week sonogram and everything looked perfect! We couldn't see any male or female parts so we will have to wait and see Dec.10th if we will have another boy or will it be a girl???

Carter Turns 4!

Cannot believe my baby is turning 4 years old! Wow how time flies!
Carter had is 4th birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese! What a fun time had by all! It the best birthday party yet!

Courtney & Zach having a boy!

Courtney and Zach found out on Courtney's birthday that they were going to be having a healthy baby boy!!! YAY!!! We definatley have the boy thing down around here :)
His name will be James David Edwards. James is after our dear family friend that passed away that was like a brother to Lauren, Courtney and I. David is a family name of Zachs that has been passed down. We are so excited to meet little James!

Surrrrrrrprise!!!!!!!!!!

The boys and I became sick with a stomach bug. Their sickness lasted 48 hours and my sickness lasted 2 weeks. After thinking something was seriously wrong with me I was about to make a doctors appointment. Will said before making an appointment that we should rule out being pregnant. I told him there was no way since I was on birth control! He ran to Kroger to get a test and it immediatly came back positive. I was so confused! I had him run back to Kroger to get another one thinking the first test was a dud. Well......that one came back positive too! OH MY!! We were both in shock!
I guess I am that 1% in the statistics of birth control that can get pregnant.

We immedialey called my primary care physican with concerns of medication that I had taken for a sinus infection. At the time my RX were prescribed my doctor asked if I was pregnant and I told him no-This was a powerful drug to knock out the infection. I was scared since I was really pregnant when I had taken the drug. Luckily I had taken only 4 of the 10 pills because I hate taking medicine. We immedicaly scheduled an appointment with my OBGYN and make sure the baby was okay. Will and I went in for a sonogram to find out that we were about 7 weeks pregnant. God had another plan in mind and now we are expecting our third little miracle.

We had a jungle animal themed family birthday party for Colie on June 14th. He had such a great time and LOVED his cake! He enjoyed himself so much he took a 4 hour nap afterwards! What a sweet little boy he is :)
